We now have about 14 inches of ice and making more at -37 this morning. Today is the 1st day we are driving out. Spearing continues to be excellent. We are putting our angling houses out starting this week. We still have openings for cabins and fish houses. We hope to see you this winter.

We were out on the lake with wheelers this morning. We are still finding 7+ inches of Ice where we need to go to set spear houses. We have signs marking where the ice goes from 7″ to 4″. With the cold temps coming this week the area that has 4″ now should be good

We have about 5 to 6 inches of Ice out to just past the reeds to where i am standing when i took these pictures. Then 4 inches out another 20 yards in the 3rd picture.

Ice Conditions have changed today we are recommending wheeler’s only as we have some cracks open up and I do not think it is safe to drive out past the ice heave with trucks.  We are seeing the best perch bite an about 20′ of water.
